FELIX OSAKWE MOVES AGAINST NRM IMPERSONATORS LAW SUIT ON PETER OBI

WHY NRM and FELIX JOHNSON OSAKWE WILL NEVER SUE  PETER OBI OF LABOUR PARTY

The rumours making the rounds on the media for some days now regarding how and

why the labour party's  presidential candidate Mr Peter Obi might be disqualified from the 2023 presidential race have reached a stage where it must be rejected by Nigerians because it holds no truth

This was mentioned in a special exclusive interview with Amb. Felix Johnson Osakwe,  the presidential candidate of the National Rescue Movement NRM, at his country home in Delta State.

Our correspondent Isaac Newton cornered Osakwe for the interview in Delta, while back home, to address a grassroot campaign gathering in his honor as a son of the soil who has always presented his kings men to national politics and development.

Ambassador Issac Udeh
National Chairman
National Rescue Movement NRM

Felix Osakwe opened up when he was asked why NRM sued Peter Obi to court for reasons of holding dual citizenship.

SPECIAL INTERVIEW EXTRATES:

QUESTION:

. Why did your party, the NRM sue Peter Obi:

OSAKWE:

Sorry please, sue who ?

We never sued anyone.

We have at no point, had any  issues with the presidential candidate of the labour party and we do not believe  Peter Obi as an individual will want to have any issues with other political parties.

Moreover it is outside my person to go about suing people or any other political party.

As you can see right here I'm back home in honour of my people and the campaign is on ongoing  across Nigeria.

We are exploring ways to get Nigeria out of the mess we have found ourselves in, as a nation, and it is certainly not the time for  court cases for whatever issues with other presidential candidates.

We have gone past the season for court cases against other candidates and are focused on campaigns and that we have resolved to continue with, until the election day arrives.

QUESTION:

But there's a suit to be heard by a court in Abuja where *the NRM issue anchoring a  request the court,* to disqualify Peter Obi from contesting the 2023 presidential elections.

OSAKWE:

Let me tell you something you don't know about our politics.

All these are distractions from the enemies of Nigeria.

The NRM can never go to court on challenging the legitimacy of any candidate when elections are already imminent.

The NRM is not a political party that bathes with the waters of blackmail.

The NRM is a political force that understands real politics to be for development and not to perpetuate hatred.

It is not in our character to engage in such deliberations .

The NRM is a focused political party that means well for Nigeria and will never waste it's time involving in whatever is not profitable.

I personally have cordial relationships with all the presidential candidates inclusive of Peter Obi, *we inclusive,* we all signed the peace accord deal and if any issues should arise between us we are civilized enough to handle things out as patriots with a common mission to return Nigeria to greatness _albeit_ running on separate platforms.

Anyone  thriving in the area of human capital development can be offered honorary citizenship and that doesn't prevent them from contesting for the presidency of Nigeria, his home country.

Presidential Candidate
National Rescue Movement NRM

QUESTION:

So what did your party do when they saw the publication of the court case on the media.

OSAKWE:

Well like you said we are just hearing it from you now and we are certain  the matter holds no value, because we as a party, did not institute any case against the labour party presidential candidate in the person of Peter Obi so we shall put up a disclaimer on any such case.

QUESTION:

Sir if you look at the case details you will find out that the case was instituted by one Danjuma Mohammed who is said to be a former national secretary of the NRM.

OSAKWE:

You see, I have neither seen the case file nor read any publications to know who took Peter Obi to court, however that is very amusing.

It's a blackmail and it holds no value whatsoever

How can some individual *cue on behalf of great party* NRM with 824 candidates, sue Peter Obi without our knowledge?

That is called impersonation and the law must catch up with them all.

It is an illegal act,  to carry out such an action, using the name of the NRM.

If they believe Peter Obi should be disqualified as a presidential candidate they should sue as individuals and not as the NRM.

NRM did not sue Peter Obi to court. We are; too busy to indulge in  cheap blackmail.

The law will catch up with them, they have no legal rights to use the name of NRM to sue anyone as far as the law is concerned.

I believe that such should not arise from persons who are not bona fide NRM leadership personalities

In my case, I will like to state very clearly that Peter Obi and the labour party should rest ensured that the NRM and it's leadership did not at any point in time sue him, and as a party, do not waste valuable time on issues dead on arrival.

This indeed serves as an official disclaimer from Amb. Isaac Udeh the national chairman of NRM and the presidential candidate of the NRM to the world.

People Shouldn't look back to the actions carried out by disgruntled elements of disunity, people with questionable characters should not be allowed to have a voice in our politics so the right people can end up in power to help Nigeria return democracy in its fullest form for the good of our people.

NRM National Chairman, Amb. Isaac Udeh  and the presidential candidate Felix Johnson Osakwe never did,  and will never request any court to disqualify Peter Obi.
