 25 GRASROOT POLITICAL GROUPS PLEADS WITH RUFUS EBEGBA TO CONTEST FOR DELTA GOVERNOR COME 2023

The City of Elephants in Delta state Nigeria called  Evwreni is known as a small London in Ughelli North local government area of Delta state was in a superlative celebrations over the weekend when some political youths and women's groups storm the town with their buses, shouting and singing with the name of Dr Rufus Eseoghene Ebegba, the director General of the National Biosafety Management Agency NBMA in  readiness for the 2023 general elections.

The event was witness by almost 5,000 people who came into the elephant city in their numbers representing the 3 senatorial districts of the state.

The event was planed by well-meaning deltans to appeal to Dr Rufus Ebegba to contest for the Governorship of the state come 2023.

The grassrooters disclosure to the media that the major reasons why they have decided to organise such an event was to take the opportunity to request the personality of Dr Rufus Eseoghene Ebegba to contest the Governorship come 2023 as the best person to move the state forward, he's the only politician in delta central that operates an open door policy as  director General from state, he has the integrity, capacity and capability to lead the state come 2023.

They said delta state needs a very clean person to be Governor at such a time in history.

We need a person with Leadership experience and understanding so that the state will not continue to remain a captured state for some few politicians as it is today.

The event brought political grassrooters from the north, east and central all to ask their political leader to lead them as the Delta 2023 Governor.

Dr Rufus Eseoghene Ebegba became the Director General of the National Biosafety Management Agency NBMA in 2015 when former president Goodluck Jonathan was about to leave power and was reappointed even six months ahead for his second term by the president Buhari administration.

Delta state needs a MN like Dr Rufus Ebegba as Governor so that the state can move from where it is to the best position in state ranking in terms of security of lives  and property, social justice, economic and infrastructure Development.

Rufus Ebegba is a passionate bridge builder between the youths in terms of leadership training and retraining over the years and promised to repeat even much more if given the opportunity to serve in whatever capacity.

Some of the political groups who made the are the Ebegba Bell Ringers, Niger Delta student union group, Urhobo students Group, Ebegba Women's action group, Urhobo shining star, Delta elders forum, Delta democracy youth group, Delta Women group, Ughelli North youth Force, Ughelli South youths group, Isoko youths foundation, Evwreni town women society, Delta royal foundation, Delta people Congress and others. 

The Delta Governorship Consultation for the Dr Rufus Eseoghene Ebegba team was also innugurated to move round the state to start consultation with other groups in terms of support and mass mobilization campaign mechinary setups when the band for campaign is up by INEC ahead of all political parties primary elections.

The campaign council is designed to promote the image and personality of Dr Rufus Eseoghene Ebegba ahead of the Polls.
