YOUTHS MUST STOP BOWING DOWN TO POLITICIANS IF OUR DEMOCRACY MUST WORK

Youths in Nigeria have been asked to stop bowing down for politicians to get their stomach filled.
This advise was given by Dr Rufus Ebegba who spoke to the youths yesterday at the official grand breaking takeoff ceremony of the Rufus Eseoghene Ebegba foundation for leadership and environmental sustainability in ughelli North in Delta State South South Nigeria.
The event was attended by youths and women organizations and associates from all the wards and units in the ughelli North local government area.
Dr Rufus Ebegba Salute the youths for their participation in the electioneering process since Nigeria retuned to democracy.
He went ahead to ask the youths to come out and participate as leaders because without the youths there is no nation that can fulfill it's destiny.
Our youths must stand up and protect our democracy, Ebegba said in his remarks that the nation can not development it's economy without the youths and until the youths stop bowing down to politicians they won't be able to focus on the transformation of Nigeria.
He said gone are the days when we say the youths are the future leaders of tomorrow, he said the youths are the leaders of today and of tomorrow at the same time because if we can't help the youths to have total control of the polity our political, social and economic development and growth would continue to suffer a great setback in terms of it's recovery which provides a very weak leadership in the future.
The leadership aspect of training is what our youths need at this point in time. They need to be trained with a continuous follow-up so that at the end we can stand aside as the elder generation and watch a superlative future with leaders of positive thinking and mind set.
My foundation is created to build a responsible youth leadership front for Nigeria.
A youth front that will take over the leadership of our nation today not tomorrow as we have been saying over the years now.
We love to see youth come out as a people. Control themselves in the right frame work and send representatives to contest elections without seeking for any godfather to bring money and at the end but off their minds towards the wrong political intensions.
The youths must stop given themselves to politicians who use them as toolps of disunity. They are are the one used by bad politicians to dissort the electioneering process put on ground by the government and until the youths up understand that their future is what will continue to be distoryed if they don't stop bowing down to politicians just to have food to eat.
Do not allow yourselves to be used as machineries against the development of Nigeria.
It will go along way if you stop giving yourself to politicians.
The youths must come and contest elections and take up leadership positions so they can also participate in policy decision making and that will end up building a stronger nation.
If the nation is all about the youths, there's nothing wrong when they come out to also participate in the electioneering process as contestants and full time participants.
We shall do this same leadership training conference and workshop across Nigeria. This is the beginning and we shall not stop until we reach every local government area in Nigeria.
The youths must participate in leadership issues so we all can be on the same page
