As the kogi state governorship elections draws closer, the fire works created in the face of the media by the political parties and their aspirants grows bigger and hotter by the day.
On a weekly bases we have seen stronger contenders roll into the arena to display their political strength as they declare interest in taking the number one seat in the state.
Everyone who have declared so far have done so in the remedy to be a replacement to governor Yahaya Bello who is already anti-partying with another platform as an alternative and waxing stronger by the day with so much official endorsements coming from the youths, down to the traditional ruling council of the state even as the people are still saying that all Bello’s endorsement have come on the notes of the government’s treat to the people.
For the records, it is very clear that the battle of the troy to take power in kogi state remains in the hands of the two major political parties in the state for now accept for the new political movement worked up by some inherited forces of the late prince Abubakar Audi’s political dynasty.
Apart from the PDP and the APC building more crescendo to capture or retain power in kogi, we have checked out the listings to see a suppress political actions to be displayed by the kogi third force called the United Democratic Party already parading a much more younger participation of the youths in the capacity personality of the great UNIBEN graduate Abdulrazaq Baba Emeje who is said to be working underground with market women, some sections of the youths and politicians who still owed the prince Audu great loyalty.
Remember that in my last news report story I talked about the broken forces of the prince Abubakar Audu's political group in the state. These same groups are controlled by our moithed senator Dino Melaye who have also declared his interest to flush out bello from the seat of power by all means. With what we have seen, it is clear that a Dino can never remove a bello from office, a Dino can only pose as a spoiler to the return of a bello back to power. With a Dino candidacy under the PDP the next governor will have to be from another political party. This is expected because Dino's treat as a PDP candidate is only going to paint a dooming picture for the PDP because there’s no way the Igala nation will vote for any person who is not an Igala son as governor come 2019. They have the ultimate strength with 9 local government areas controlled by them. This time they have vowed to prove a point that kogi state politicos is not going to go down without an Igala nation providing the 2019 governor ether by hook or crook. Although this decision can only happen when the Oto'ge poison is not applied by the locals.
Dino’s candidacy is a total waste of time for the PDP if you ask me because he doesn’t have the structural and moral justification to run for kogi governorship in the first place.
Dino as a mouth wagging senator should do very well as a senator representing his people in the floor of the green chambers so that great and stronger bills can be signed into law.
I wonder what will happen to the senate when legislative oratory elements of democracy like Dino is left out of place. We need a Dino in the senate so that our impunity styled president can be checked on a daily bases. With a senator like Dino we are rest assured that the president can’t be as irresponsible as he was in his first term in office. A president such as ours with a reckless attitude for Democratic values, procedures and influence should be checked at all times.
If not for a Dino in the senate president buhari would have finished all the national assembly members with his militocracy system of leadership that have destroyed almost all institutions in NIGERIA with only four years of taking power.
I have said it time without number, for us to see a more inclusive political campaign and elections in the forthcoming kogi governorship battle, we should drop our eyes fixed on the PDP Mohammed Tettes candidacy because he’s the cleanest aspirant of all that can give the party victory at the polls. And the UDP is already marching ready for a sound battle ahead of others with the candidacy of another formidable element of kogi restoration tagged as Abdulrazaq Baba Emeje, while the APC still fighting hard to decide on who they will be fielding against PDP eventual Mohammed Tettes and Abdulrazaq Emeje of the UDP.
We have gone down memory lane and fished out the reasons why we are bent on a Mohammed Tettes candidacy for the PDP so that the party can even form an alliance with maybe e UDP or the ADC to capture power and push bello down with a broken neck from the invisible 50 story building already prepared for that activity.
Bello is not going to let go even when his party national powers are planning to use someone else as its candidate if their plans works out.
Our sources have continued to tell us that the national is already divided into thr3 different groups all on the issues of a bello never to return to the governorship office of kogi state.
One group is controlled by the national chairman himself Adams Oshiomhole a man who have caused more confusion in the party than ever, and the other designed by the Jagaban of Lagos, respected and powerful political warlord I’m e south west Ahmed Bola Tinubu who have done a great job for the APC so far as the records are layer for all to see. While the other group is the Aisha Buhari group who is said to be in a hot marathon with the other two groups to provide a bello to be presented on behalf of the party against all odds.
With these confusion already on ground for the APC in kogi for the forthcoming elections in November 2nd, we shall see a much more falls by the party because the more the fighting’s the more the breakage amongst the member who are expected to work as a team to retain power.
The more the people gear up to watch a battle for the seat of power, the much more the participants gear up strategies against each other so that the final candidates can build up a strong wall on election day.
It is very certain that the APC is banking on the power of incumbency to retain power in kogi while the PDP is standing on the past glories of been in power for 16 years and making a comparison of their achievements so far, while the UDP who is already waxing stronger with Abdulrazaq Emeje as their man is marching strong and hotter with the fact that the state needs a new horn that can get the state working again with a restoration agenda.
But if you ask me the biggest question about the Dino PDP candidacy I will tell you that it is going to be the doom of the PDP in the forthcoming elections if Dino is stared as the candidate.
Dino is very qualified as a citizen of NIGERIA to contest for whatever position of his choice but at the moment like it or not it is very clear that Dino can only be a spoiler to Yahaya Bello’s return to power if fielded by the party instead of a man with no dent at any point in time.
This is the reason why we have always craved for a Mohammed Tettes for the PDP and a Abdulrazaq for the UDP while we wait for a Bello using the Accord party to run or capture the party with the total support of the first lady of Nigeria on behalf of president buhari as his always not aware of whatever is happening across Nigeria.
We are happy to have our pen always ready to put the truth down for the people to read through no matter what the issues are.
Finally we say it will be a dooms day for the Igala nation to seat and watch how power is going to be taken from people to people without their input all because of their rightful decision on the best candidate to pit forward so the people can vote without any question of such.
The easiest way to remove bello from office is to field a green horn to run against him ether from the PDP or another clean party. All needed to be done is to transfer the structure of whatever political groups and form a formidable force in days wit the agreement that you take this and you take that. It can work this way because political is local and its a give and tale game that runs with numbers at the end of the day.
If the PDP plays a Dino they are finished for life, Dino will return as a senator after the elections but the wounds that he moist have created for the people will be too many to heal in seconds.
Dino’s candidacy is a total waste and shouldn’t be allowed, it is better to fight out Bello from office without using too much fire crackers. A Dino candidacy will cost too much even if its a must but a Mohammed Tettes ticket will just take a few alliance with three political dynasty and the matter is solved for the best of all.
Ibrahim Idris’s son and son in-law Abubakar and Engineer Musa Wada should also drop his interest in the interest of the Igala nation because the Oto'ge syndrome is already pitching its fingers to tie the PDP to a bigger failure.
Of a truth if you sample my opinion, the former governor Ibro as his fondly called the Igala people should also be held responsible to PDP's failure if he allows the oto'ge fever running across kogi in waiting of the PDP candidates to be fielded at the end of the primaries coming up very soon.
Some of our sources told us in an exclusive interviews that Ibro was quoted to have said that he will never spend his money on any candidate that is not his son. He will never support any body who is not his son. So are we saying that politics is all about our personal selves. On this account we have been sorting out avenues to have an exclusive interview with Ibro himself so we can give the people a first class info they deserve to hear from the horses mouth.
For us Ibro not supporting a candidate that is not is son is only a rumours for now. Until we have the opportunity to talk with him on these matters it is not officially established as a fact given to the people.
All we are asking the political parties to do is to look into who is presented at the end of the day so we can have a smooth and hot debate and election planned for some few days to come.
Apart front the political activities that elections create in the polity, we also build up the castles for the values to choice for the people which provides us the privileges to make people read up quality analysis on actions taken by Tue aspirants and their respective parties all in running the affairs of the state before, during and after the elections.
So far so good, Dino is not good enough to run for kogi governor not because he’s not qualified but because he’s going to end up a Bello spoilers and PDP destroyer.
