MISS KARU & MR KARU PAGEANT COMES ALIVE.
The Karu Carnival Pageant / Awards 2013 took centre stage on Saturday 21st December 2013 at Edit Royal Hotel before CBN Executive Quarters Karu Abuja.
The Event which was put together by Valid Results Ltd and Steeze Int'l Ent gathered the High and Mighty, Comedians, Musical Arts, Movie Actors and Actresses, players in the Entertainment industry. MC Madeeasy (CCFR) , MC Terry(CFR), Capital Big Boss (Dapo, Raypower ) Miss Cherie (AIT), E-zed (Abuja's Famous Artist), Chacha Master, Nicky- hot Female musical Art, Steeze Master just to mention a few!
The Event Red Carpet Started about 7pm with the Capital Boss(Ray Power) and Miss Cherie (AIT) as host. Television Africa Network, Welcome to Nigeria Television Talk Show and 1978 Multimedia were all there to add so much light to the Event.
21 years Old 200 Level Mass communication student of ABU Zaria, Princess Oluchi Iche from Abia state emerged the Karu Carnival Queen 2013, while 22 years old Open University Student, Onyebuchi Peter Franklin from Anambra State emerged Karu Carnival King 2013. The runners up Position went to Jennifer Okechukwu as Miss Karu, Michael Duke as Mr. Karu, Peculiar Onyeozuru as Face of Karu and John-Obiechina Austin Face of Karu. Miss Photogenic went to Marvelous Onyeozuru and Best Model went to Olayiwola Ololade, she also got a one year Contract from Madeeasy Ent to be their Ambassador.
Among those that got awards were FrankVille Hotel, Success Super Stores, Courtland Garden, Mama Mia and Cherryfield College.
The CEO Steeze Int'l Ent and Project Director Mr Roland Owualah said the Project was organized in other to Put Karu in the Map of Abuja. He recounted that the Minister of FCT was Doing a wonderful Job by making the FCT a tourist home, but should also look into assisting Young People who also have the growth of the City at heart. In his speech, he said am really moved to help the Youths, engage them in something fruitful and also help them invest in there Future by ways of Pet Projects and gainful skill acquisition/empowerment. Most especially with the Era of Security challenges our Youths need to engage themselves in something Challenging and tasking, as the contestants were screened according to there beauty and Brains. The contestants were made to live in a Camp together for 3days regardless of their Tribe and ethnicity, thereby fostering Unity, tolerance and togetherness amongst Young People.
Among the Team that Produced the event were Mr Hailord Obasuyi (Pageant Manager) Mr John Tega CEO Mr Earth Nigeria(Cart Walk Instructor) Mr Gozkeg Camp Assistant. Mr Benedict Mobilization Cordinator and Miss Cherie, Pageant Cordinator.
