Saraki declares War in Court for Kwara PDP Victory

APC IN BIG SHOCK! Governor-Elect Lands In Big Trouble After Saraki Declared That The Party’s Victory Would Be Short-Lived
A new twist has emerged after the governorship election in Kwara State which was won by the main opposition All Progressives Congress, APC beating the ruling Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, in the State.

According to Information Nigeria, New Kwara State, Governor-elect,  Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has been accused of forging his WAEC result. According to the West African Examination Council, WAEC, the copy of the certificate allegedly submitted to the electoral body did not meet the required standard. The Kwara Governor-elect Abdulrazaq claimed to have gotten his result from WAEC in July 1976 examination at the Government College, Kaduna, but search by sources revealed that the certificate could be fake.
The least educational qualification anyone interested in public service or contesting for any political position must have is the ‘O’ Level General Certificate of Education, GCE, or the West African School Certificate, WASC.
Mr Abdulrazaq, who is now in the eye of the storm, has been allegedly using the result to contest for political positions in the past years and presented the result to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to qualify him to contest in the 2019 governorship election in Kwara.
A critical perusal at the result indicated that for WAEC result to appear as genuine, the names on the certificate must appear without abbreviation and in this case the names were abbreviated and even super-imposed on the certificate just as the candidate’s number, including the certificate number were non-existent in WAEC records.
Recall that Senate President Bukola Saraki, has said that the victory of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) at the presidential poll will be short-lived.
According to The Sun, Saraki stated this at an emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) in Abuja, yesterday. The senate president explained that contrary to the opinion in certain quarters, the outcome of the March 9 presidential election was a loss to the entire country.
“This victory that the other party has seen is going to be short-lived. If anybody believes it is a loss to PDP, it is a loss to the country that history will not forgive. We said it many times here, that the worst thing to do is to conduct an election that, as a country, Nigeria would not be proud of. We have conducted an election that, no doubt, anybody and even those who think they have won are ashamed of the kind of election that we conducted.
“I think it is a shame to the country and to those that were given that responsibility to do. They have Saturday as their last opportunity to try as much as possible to reclaim part of their embarrassment to the country. How can a country like Nigeria, as the speaker said, ‘Ghana has done it, Congo, even Zimbabwe have done elections,’ and we say we do elections, with seven being inconclusive. We did elections in 2011, we did it in 2015, and, after so many years, this is what we can produce? It is not a loss to the PDP, it is to the country, it just shows the level of desperation…

“I have confidence that this will be short-lived and as such let us ensure on Saturday, that these fives states that are ours remain within the PDP and INEC should, for once, do what is right.”
No one knows the next political decision the current ruling party in the state will be taking any moment soon as more developments may still emerge ahead of the expiration of the tenure of the party in the state before handing over.
