Ahead of the 2019 kogi state governorship elections aspirants have been dropping their campaign publicity materials to solidify their interest to run for the governorship race under their preferred political parties.
Some of these aspirants are seen to have started their strategic political consultation moves across the state in a drive to pally party supporters before the primary dates are fixed.
Kogi is a state known to be one of the poorest ruled states in NIGERIA since 2015 when the APC led administration of President Muhammedu Buhari took over the mantle of leadership in the center.
Some of the political party aspirants are ranging in showcase for the number one position of governor in the state by mere sayings, word of mouth and others clamor very openly and hard with the use of social media platforms. Its is said that most of the aspirants who are already out are the ones in other political parties like the peoples Democratic party, PDP, the social Democratic party, SDP but not from the Alliance for Progressives Congress, APC respectively.
It is also rumoured that the aspirations of Yahaya Bello who is the current governor of the state under the APC have not allowed anybody to even by mistake use a word of mouth to say he or she is interested in contesting for governor either for the fear of been marked as an enemy or it remains a style for the APC to refuse to field any other person like the way fake votes were alloted to buhari from the states without him refusing to accept that systematic rigging even when nobody was allowed to contest against him for the seat of the president under the party.
Apc is known as a political party that is constituted with a very weak democratic values over its creation and existence so far.
The party is recorded in history as a political party with the highest level of electoral impurity when it comes to fielding a candidate against the will and wish of its members on every occasion even to the position of the president.
Kogi will also predicted to witness the same issues that was done in other states and the presidency because if the troubles rocking the APC is dislodge in operations at any point in time it will be discovered that the imposition of candidates on the people has been their major issues why almost all the state governorship primaries held weeks back is dented with the irregularities of fake voters, no voting, ballot box snatching and all sort of electoral malpractices witnessed by election observers across NIGERIA.

The drama of choosing who ends up as the kogi state APC governorship candidate for the 2019 election against the PDP will surely be a tough of war because Bello the governor is known to be stubborn and strip to conquer while the Oshiomole leadership is also a hard baggage to crack.
Although rumours are cutting the grass that Adams Oshiomole is already shopping for a better personality out from the PDP to officially join the APC to contend with Bello in the primaries as the plans maybe.
And this is expected to be a wall of Jericho for Bello as sources also disclosed that the presidential romance he has with President Buhari has gone dented because of his none performance as governor over the years.
In the PDP we have seen the men who can displace Bello or any other person presented by the APC.
Kogi is known for their lopsided style of voting when it comes to governorship and presidential elections over the years so if anyone tells you that the APC will have a smooth ride back into power it is for sure a fat foolish joke.
The igalas are prepared to take power back from Bello by all means and this is one major battle that Bello if fielded by the APC will surely suffer.
The igalas are said to be very hungry with bello because he runs his mouth from the two sides as if he got the mandate of been the kogi governor with his name.
Bello became governor with a constitutional right and the Igala had nothing to do because the hand of death dealt with them as it took their lion away from them in a very sad moments in history.
Prince Abubakar Audu, a man who stood for the igalas in whatsoever the case maybe, they came out in their thousands and voted their kings man into power not caring about the political party that fielded his personality.
The people love Audu so much that the candidate of the PDP suffered a count tabed defeat even as an incumbent governor just like what president Goodluck Jonathan suffered.
In this 2019 elections, the PDP is said to have men in cue like the former governor of the state in person of Capt Idris Wada who is said to have performed very poor and was beaten like a college boy by Prince Audu, Ibrahim Idris's son in-law and first son names withheld, they are said to be possible tools of the former governor, it is said that Idris is trying to close ranks using his son in-law or first son like what Rochas Okorocha is fighting to do in IMO state with Nwosu for the governorship ticket.
Kogi indegines are accusing him Ibrahim Idris of putting kogi state on the map as one of the poorest states in Africa where poverty line has taken the people to leaving the state and seeing abuja city like their London to seek greener pastures, that is why we have a lot of kogi indegines relocating to abuja and other nearby cities during his administration.
Another very strong contender is Saliyu Atawudi a man who is also accused of stealing government funds when he was in office as an armed forces personnel.
It is rumoured that the efcc still a case with him, and have many a times knocked him in jail which played out questions and questions. And for a PDP that is rebranding, it won't fly a candidate that doesn't have a good reputation in the public.
Question still remains that if the rebranded PDP as its called today wants to take back power from the APC, it has to present candidates with very clean personalities and not a personalities with questionable character. As far as the people are concerned the PDP in kogi state has just one great aspirant that can replace Bello or Oshiomol's preferred candidate we are about to see when the cheeps are down.
And that personality will give whosoever the run for their money anytime any day, anywhere, anyhow. Am talking about putting down with gold in the sand of time, name for name, integrity for integrity, personality for personality, money for money and whatsoever the APC is bringing on ground as a joker this candidate has it to the fullest.
We have seen the posters materials of that man in the peoples loved Shaibu Adah Mohammed on social media and other print medium over some months now and that made us look him out in a special discovery as the most responsive and superlative kogi governorship aspirant under the PDP if you may ask the people without any negative value.
Our reasons are that as an aspirant this man is very credible in whatever capacity anyone is asking for. If he's to be screened with his high powered capacity to negate efficiency in governance via a modest leadership I think kogi state is too local for him to lead in terms of the capacity for good and quality leadership displayed over the year in the private sector where he made a great impact.
With what tge people are saying Shaibu Mohammed is a better chance for the PDP in kogi because he has everything kogi needs in a governor, from his experience as an astute administrator, marketing guru, policy analysing skills and as a regional manager for an international organization with a score sheet credits to his name, a lover of people and a goal getter of distinct character.
Shaibu Adah Mohammed is the best thing that can happen to kogi state if the PDP can for once in their lives lock out sentiments in deciding a new path for the party in kogi state.
The PDP needs a man with greater integrity and capacity to run as the flagbearer or else the APC will roll back to power with no mountain to climb. The PDP should open their eyes very wide to see in shaibu the dignity of a positive thinking individual who over the years played a super role in the development of the social industry in NIGERIA.
And as for what we have seen in the personality of shaibu Mohammed it is very clear that the hand writing is on the wall for everybody to see, just like how the Adams Oshiomole leadership is getting ready to replace Bello for his none performance so is the PDP expected to toll a positive path for the party in presenting to the people a quality leader to stand tall for the party as their governorship candidate to replace the APC by beating them with a sugar face where the whole state would standout to say we want PDP back in power as the candidate presented carries a better spirit to providing the opportunity for employment, good roads, quality healthcare facilities and the protection of lives and properties.
The only way the PDP can replace the APC in kogi is when the leadership of the PDP open up their political calculative eyes and mandibular to see beyond the personalities of Idris Wada who ran a very poor administration that was flogged put of power by Prince Abubakar Audu of blessed memories, or is it the influence of the armed forces personnel Chief Saliyu Atawudi who is rumoured to be under the efcc investigations for a crime of looting when in he was in office or is it the son in-law or first son name withheld of the former governor of thge state who is believed to want to continue holding the state back as a political godfather?
If the PDP can look away from all forms of wrong elements wanting to buy control of the political powers of the state so that they can continue milking and sucking the resources dry there's no way that kogi state would not enter the golden books of progress with a candidate like Shaibu Mohammed as governor.
Yahaya Bello or Oshiomol's protege will surely have Shaibu Adah Mohammed as a hard nut to crack so the PDP should beware because we shall also witness a hot political game plan that shall be codedly sponsoring other candidates from inside the PDP by the APC leadership to hustle Shaibu Mohammed out of place so the general elections can be a walk over for them.
The PDP must therefore block all loopholes in choosing a credible candidate with the bandwidth to deform the APC elements out of business in kogi state.
