Ministerial Nominee James Ocholi And What The Constitution Says About Conflict Of Interest

consider James Ocholi as Nigeria's Attorney General and minister of
Justice.

The last two attorney-generals (Mike Andoakaa (SAN) and Mohammed Adoke (SAN) abused their office by withdrawing over 50 serious cases of official corruption including the cases of their clients. If a lawyer who is defending corruption cases is made the Attorney-General of the Federation what is the assurance that he will not discontinue such cases?
This is why the Constitution has provided that conflict of interests by public officers is prohibited.
