Eyewitnesses said the man who carried a bomb in his bag was waiting
suspiciously to enter the Central Gombe motor park around 2:00pm.
Vigilantes in the area accosted him when their suspicion heightened as

After he was hit with a stick, he detonated the bomb and was seriously injured in the process. The crowd immediately gathered around him doused him with gasoline and burnt the man to ashes.
