Presidential Threat Causes Publication To Remove Jonathan’s Name From Africa's 10 Richest List
According to Vanguard Nigeria, RichLifestyle.com has removed the
name of President Goodluck Jonathan from its top ten ranking of
Africa’s richest presidents after the publication was threatened with
legal action.

the publication was threatened with legal action.
The publication had previously listed President Jonathan as the 6th richest with a net worth of $100 million before deleting Jonathan’s name from its online edition.
Just yesterday, Reuben Abati, special advisor to the president, declared that the president had legitimately earned his wealth from various public offices.

“The clear and unacceptable imputation of the claim that President Jonathan is now worth about $100 million is that the President has corruptly enriched himself while in office which is certainly not the case,” Abati said.
