— THE HISTORIC AFRICAN NAFCA BEVERLY HILLS 2014 THE COSTLIEST AWARD IN THE HISTORY OF NOLLYWOOD —

In attendance were dignitaries including;
Royal Majesty Kabiyesi Oba Kole Ojutalayo representing the NAFCA Grand
Patron, His Imperial Majesty Kabiyesi Alaiyeluwa Oba Okunade Sijuwade
Olubuse II The Ooni of Ife, (a segment of the program was dedicated to
the NAFCA Grand Patron). Honorable Ama Tutu Muna Cameroon Minister of
Arts & Culture who received a Special NAFCA Image award in 2013 came
down from Cameroon with a delegation of four to offer support to the
prestigious award. Commenting on the award, Minister Muna says that all
African countries should financially support NAFCA, because the African
NAFCA is promoting the rich African culture and heritage to the world.
It would be unpatriotic not to support this prestigious award, she
concluded. Ben Bruce (CEO of Silverbird Group) said “the bringing of
Nollywood and Hollywood together for the first time in its self was
historic”. Special NAFCA Patriot award recipient Governor Yvon Alteon of
Haiti said Haiti is committed to working with NAFCA. Hollywood’s
renowned Cryptorealist Davood Roostaei in his effort to help the award
grow, he donated to the African NAFCA a painting titled “Leaders of the World” appraised
for three million dollars. Chief Alexander Ejiamatu of Ejiamatu
Holdings received a Patriot Award and promised to collaborate and
sponsor NAFCA events. President Jonathan Goodluck's ADC Colonel Ojogbane
Adegbe was also honored with a Special NAFCA Patriot award for his
service to Nigeria.
The founder of the Patriotic Movement Ms.
Eeefy Ify Ike of Beverly Hills was also honored with a Special NAFCA
Patriot Award for empowering the youth.

Over 500 Hollywood actors and filmmakers
were in attendance. Hollywood legends including Louis Gossett Jr., Glynn
Thurman, Nolbert Brown Jr., Tammi Mac, Kathleen Bradley, Music
Executive Bright Enabulele, Dr. Maxine Anderson, Dr. Michael Obeng and
Keith David, who were all honored with The Special NAFCA Honors. Actor
Blair Underwood won the Best Actor in a Foreign film and director Neema
Barnette (Director of the Cosby Show) won the Best Director in a Foreign
film for the film “Woman Thou Art Loosed on the 7th Day.
Other Hollywood stars in attendance included; Reatha Grey, Miguel Nunez,
Nicoye Banks, KD Aubert, Tommy Tiny Lister, Kiki Shepard, Kayla Gordy
Bristol who is the granddaughter of the legendary Motown founder,
Shanica Knowles, Clemmons Twins, Peter Wise, Helen Summers, Pherell and
Jamie Foxx among others.

Nollywood stars Majid Michel, Samuel Ruffy Quansha,
Omoni Oboli, Juliet Ibrahim, Jeta Amata, Charles Okorocha, Anita
Josephs, Nixon Productions and Chijioke Nnaji came to show support to
this important and historic event. Nollywood USA/UK stars include;
Chisom Oz Lee, Winstina Taylor, Nonsa Igbinosa, Mike Aki, Chet Anekwe, Ify
Hollywood, Jennifer Oguzie, Ken Smart, Adi Alfa, Clara Folashade
Fernaldo, Kelechi Eke, Robert Peters, Soleil Diva, Papa Gee, Chima
Austin, Ivie Omo, Monica Swaida, Bridget John, Sputnic Erowac and
Austeen Eboka among others.

The
African NAFCA 2014 was hosted by Jackie Christie of Basketball Wives of
LA, NAFCA award winning Michael Adegoke, Hollywood actor Lester Speight
and Kalitta Smith.

Musical
performances included a tribute to the music legend Bobby Womack, by
Ginare Womack, Latrel Maloy and Millie Jackson. Aerial dancing by
legendary Karen Ruby and award winning Michael Adegoke received standing
ovation, Filon J brought the Afro pop alive while Emmanuel Ndupu,
Samuel E and Werrason from the DRC energized the NAFCA guests. Chef
Pieps of Hollywood's wined and dined the VIP guests through the Afterparty where there were live music, lot of food and drinks.
The
Future of the African NAFCA is bright and based on what happened this
year the African NAFCA 2015 might have to be by invitation or with
limited number of tickets for sale.
